Varsity Girls Head Soccer Coach

Coach Ali Broussard played soccer for 14 years. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Education- Health and PE. Coach Ali has been coaching soccer for a number of years. During her senior year at UL, she began coaching soccer for a local middle school team. When she began working at LCA, she coached our Middle School Girl's Soccer Team and was an assistant coach for our Varsity Girl's Team. In 2020 she became the Varsity Girl's Head Coach here at LCA.

"Throughout my time as the Varsity Girls Head Coach, we have been learning and growing together. I am very blessed with a set of student athletes that are focused on growing and getting better on and off the field. The girls I coach are also great students and individuals that display academic tenacity. From when I started coaching the girls soccer team, there has been a tremendous growth of the skill level and knowledge of the game and I plan on continuing that growth for the years to follow, while also keeping it fun and competitive. Our goal is to keep Christ at the center of all that we do. I am extremely proud of how far we have come as a soccer program and cannot wait to see what the future holds!

I am proud to be a Knight because of the tight knit community that comes along with being a part of the LCA family. We take pride in supporting each other whether that includes sports, academics, or school clubs. I believe that is also what makes this team different. Many of the student-athletes I coach are a part of other sports, BETA or other extracurricular activities. I believe it is important to be connected to LCA in many ways."
