International Student Admissions

We believe diversity in the classroom aids in understanding God's World.

Foreign students who wish to join the student body at Lafayette Christian Academy must agree to learn about Jesus Christ and have knowledge of the Bible.

Lafayette Christian Academy requires new International students to apply through an international student agency. The agency must be approved by the LHSAA of Louisiana for the student to be eligible to play sports.

Lafayette Christian Academy is an approved SEVP school with the Unites States Justice Department's Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP). Students must be accepted for admission to Lafayette Christian Academy before a VISA can be issued.

Students must have a personal commitment to joining a private Christian school environment. Students will be required to take a placement exam to assess whether their English communication skills are adequate for the curriculum. These assessments will be done during a personal interview with the student prior to admission.

All applications are considered on the basis of aptitude and achievement tests, recommendations, previous report cards, interview, and the result of any admission testing.

A student's previous educational records and behavioral patterns are all considered in the acceptance process. The family must be in agreement with the Christian educational philosophy of Lafayette Christian Academy.

Lafayette Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
